Before you start
Does the assistant change my notes without me?
No. It proposes each change — a new note, an edit, a tag — showing every line it adds or removes, and nothing is saved until you approve it. If you changed the note in the meantime, the proposal is refused rather than written over your words.
What can the assistant do?
Write a note from what you type, a photo or a text file; change part of a note and leave the rest as it was; add, rename or remove tags across many notes; and answer questions from what your notes say.
What can I send it?
A message, typed or pasted; a photo, such as a page of handwriting, a whiteboard or a screenshot; or a text or Markdown file.
Is it plain Markdown?
Yes. Each note is a title, tags and Markdown text: headings, lists, tables, code blocks and links show as written, and any note downloads as a .md file.
Does it work offline?
No. Your notes are kept in your account, not on one device, so they open in any browser, on a computer or a phone, and need a connection.
Can I bring my notes from another app?
Yes. Import Markdown or text files from Settings, one at a time or many in a zip; each becomes a note, with nothing in it left out.
Can I get my notes out?
Yes, whatever your plan: any note as a .md file, or all of them in one zip with their titles, tags and dates, ready to import again.
How does search work?
It finds the words you type in titles and text, best matches first, in any language; choosing tags narrows the list.
What happens when the free use ends?
Nothing is deleted, and you can still read, write, change, import and export your notes; the assistant needs the plan.
Is what I put in used to train AI?
No. The AI runs on Cloudflare's servers under our own account; nothing you put in is sent to another AI company or used to train a model.
Can I delete everything?
Yes. Deleting your account in Settings erases everything in it at once; backup copies are deleted within 30 days.
